From Africa to the World – Our Story
Emporium Designs began as a passion project in Durban, where our founder sought to merge rich African culture with modern aesthetics. Since our inception, we have grown into a leading studio specialising in bespoke furniture and luxurious interiors.
Founded in Durban, South Africa, Emporium Designs began with a bold vision: to bring modern African elegance into homes, hotels, and hospitality spaces everywhere.
What started as a small studio quickly grew into a full-service design brand, serving clients in South Africa, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Mauritius, Uganda, Mozambique, and internationally. Today, we design, manufacture, and deliver premium custom furniture for high-end spaces globally, blending African roots with international style.
Emporium collection custom made our plasma unit. We were blown away by the quality! It is a floating piece and came out better than I imagined in my head! They also installed the most beautiful wall paper in our main lounge and master bathroom, not a guest leaves without complimenting us on our wall Emporium collection did. We also purchased a carved cabinet for our very sentimental items and photos. We can’t wait to use them again in future
